Only once before has a company agreed to let me test their product and that time I refrained from posting a review at all because the food product I tested was rather distasteful to me. (So you know, if I ever post a product review it is because I truly like and would personally use the item I'm telling you about!) This is the very first time a company has sought me out and approached me with a request to test a product for them. I guess you could say I'm a little jazzed! :)
Even before I had a chance to select a product to sample, I was already impressed enough with Wearever to list their unique products on my resource page. I continue to be please and impressed with product quality and service, enough-so as to share this stroke-recovery gem with you.
Wearever is a health and wellness apparel company that offers many products that are great for those who have survived a stroke or other similar impairments. Due to my ongoing circulation issues, they were kind enough to provide me with a package of their Diabetic Loose Top Sock by Buster Brown for review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
I love these sock! I had to wear compression hoes for months after the strokes and they were so terribly uncomfortable! These socks are not nearly as tight, but still offer much better compression than a plain pair of socks would. Because they are cotton-based, I don't have to worry about latex elastic biting into my legs or feet and the breathable design make them wonderful to wear under my boots on hot summer days. After wearing them, consistently, for a week, my feet are fairly close to the same color now, rather than one always looking much darker and duskier than the other. I was afraid they might not hold up to machine washing well, but after washing, I can't tell my used ones from a pair of unworn ones!
discrete incontinence underwear that comes in many styles (even lace for women) and looks live standard underwear, bibs and bedding here. Have unique post-stroke needs? Let Wearever help you meet some of them! I will be returning to this website, and pointing others here as well, often in the future. Be sure to take advantage of the Wearever anniversary percentage off discounts going on now! Also look for them on Facebook or Pinterest.
On The Navigators Facebook page (dear to my heart because NavPress is the publisher of my first book, Hannah's Hope), they recently posted this quote,
Love this. When guilt tries to replay shame upon shame over and over to my heart, what a wonderful chance to crowd out the lies or failure reminders with the Truth and Grace that were designed to reside there!"
